slowtalk/x-quick is the attempt to misuse media to "invent" a reducted type of medium.
further it misuses the internet and hypertext technologies in a certain way.

the approach of distributing information as slowtalk/x-quick does, not even word by word but character by character in a sequence, is contrary to the possiblities of the internet to link and display huge amounts of information. understanding a short sentence using this system would take you about ten times longer than it would with simply reading the sentence as a whole on the screen.
the way that messages in this system have to be decoded by the audience to be understood, resembles the act of listening rather than reading because the information is fleeting and it's impossible to go back and forth in text.
i did not want to integrate media to "break the media border" but to disintegrate media to make the border visible.
